For family and friends

Sexual violence can have a wide impact, affecting not only the survivor, but also their family and friends, who are their main support system following the event. As a significant person in the survivor's life, it's completely normal if you need some help processing what has happened. We offer counseling services for significant others (family, friends, and partners), regardless of whether or not the survivor themselves is receiving SAFE services. Counseling services for significant others are completely free and confidential. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. All are welcome and all will be supported. If you are a significant other who wants to know more about counseling services, call our 24 hour hotline at 1-800-625-1414.
